Christopher Tate

Christopher Tate is a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of State Support, where, as a member of the Data Reporting and Analysis and Technical Assistance Functional Support Teams, his portfolio of work focuses on supporting State educational agencies to build the capacities necessary for supporting districts and schools with implementing the Every Student Succeeds Act. Christopher has over nine years of program leadership and policymaking experience at the federal, state, and local level and is a passionate advocate for improving schools through data-driven, systemic reforms. Having grown up in poverty, with few educational alternatives available to him, Christopher recognizes the valuable impact access to a quality education, and advocacy for students and families, can have for low-income and minority students.
