Dr. Jobi Lawrence from UCLA’s National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards and Student Testing (CRESST) will share the importance of strengthening the home-school connection and shifting a focus from engagement to empowerment. Strategies to connect with families and communities will be provided in this session.
