- . At East Chester, we focus on building strong relationships with our students to develop and cultivate a love for learning. We feel that this is the most crucial step in the learning process. Through our positive school culture, we are able to make extraordinary academic gains with our students. In the classroom, we strive for our students to take ownership in their own learning. Through them taking this ownership, students are fully invested in the learning process. Over the years, we have also focused on pushing a love for reading. Students are able to build their reading stamina and develop extensive background knowledge that helps them in all content areas. Lastly, a great success of ours is we focus on success criteria. We make sure our students understand the WHY behind their learning and the steps needed to be successful.
