Dr. Chism is the Director for the Office of State Support in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education.  Dr. Chism has held a series of positions in the field of education as a teacher, researcher, state administrator, and Assistant Superintendent of Illinois State.  In these positions she gained a deep knowledge of what is required to close achievement gaps and cultivate culturally proficient schools.

Dr. Libby Doggett is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Early Learning in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education at the U.S. Department of Education.  She was recently the director of the Pew home visiting campaign where she oversaw a robust research agenda to enhance support for data-driven investments that align with federal guidance.  Prior to that, she directed Pre-K Now, a 10-year campaign to advance high-quality, voluntary Pre-K for all 3- and 4-year-olds across the country.  She also worked for the National Head Start Association, directing their HeadsUp! reading program to improve literacy instruction in early learning classrooms across the country.  She began her career as a bilingual first grade teacher at Ortega Elementary School in Austin.

Carmen Sánchez is an Education Program Specialist in the Office of Special Education Programs at the US Department of Education; the program lead for the Parent Center Program, which consists of grants for Parent Training and Information (PTIs) and Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRCs)

Barbara R. Scherr is a Family Involvement Coordinator at the Maryland State Department of Education; for over 21 years her work has included the areas of childcare, safe and drug-free schools, homeless education, and family literacy and family engagement and building capacity for educators.

Nathan Schult currently serves as the Parent Engagement Program Manager at the Georgia Department of Education. He works to increase student achievement by engaging and empowering parents to become actively involved in their children's education across all grade levels.

Terri Stafford is the Coordinator of the Texas Title I Statewide School Support/Family and Community Engagement Initiative; specializes in parental involvement and communication; an educator for  over 28 years; a presenter, teacher, counselor, administrator, Title I consultant and writer

Trini Torres Carrion serves as an Education Program Specialist in the Office of English Language Acquisition, where she manages the Native American and Alaska Native Children in School program; she has been a classroom teacher; author of a children's book
