Unlocking Potential: A Scaffold for Enhancing Classroom Impact for Non-Certified Teachers

In this session, participants will explore the transformative power of the Skills-Knowledge-Strategy (SKS) framework in enhancing the classroom impact of non-certified teachers. The session will cover the research behind the SKS approach, its relevance in addressing the challenges faced by non-certified teachers, and its focus on developing teaching skills, acquiring essential knowledge, and utilizing effective instructional strategies. Participants will learn how the SKS framework boosts teacher clarity, self-efficacy, and credibility, and engage in hands-on activities to apply the strategies in their own classrooms. They will leave with a toolkit of practical resources to scaffold effective teaching outcomes for non-certified teachers.
