Natalie Hutchins is a Title I Consultant and Parent Involvement Program Supervisor. This is her 11th year with Cobb County Schools. She has served as a bilingual parent liaison working with the department to contribute to award winning recognition at the 2008 Title I National Conference for her Tuesday Morning and Engaging Activities Backpack parent involvement programs. Recently, she has been hosting the only ESOL Resource Lab model in the county at Kennesaw Elementary. She is experienced in adult education through her coaching role at Jacksonville State University for their graduate studies education program, Kappa Delta Pi’s Parent Involvement Webinar Series, and GADOE contributions to our new Teacher Resource Link learning tool. Her background in future stakeholder planning, in association with Teachers as Advisors and GaBest’s local business programs, support her new role as the Title I Secondary School Consultant to foster community involvement. She challenges her community to seek parent investment opportunities in a digital age, and utilizes her skills to promote research-based, supplemental resources to foster parent engagement and student based instructional programs at the secondary level. Her passion is to support educators and parents in creating home-school learning environments to meet the needs of all learners.
