Designing a Work Life You Love

Friday February 3, 2023
8:00 - 9:30 AM
Room 143-145

Most of us spend a large portion of our day at work. We depend on the workplace to find meaning and ways to make an impact. Yet, most jobs aren’t designed around making a difference and most supervisors and colleagues aren’t comfortable talking about meaning and impact. Design thinking is an approach that will help you reclaim meaning and joy in your work life. It is an ongoing process of building your way forward and learning how to create a work environment you love. In this session, workshop participants will learn how to become a design thinker and use design thinking frameworks to reframe their thinking from the dysfunctional belief of – it’s not working for me here – to – I can make it work (almost) anywhere.
