
Attack Subgroup Disparities Through Formative Assessments
Are you swimming in data, with no time to analyze it? Do you struggle to ensure teams are using common formative assessments and the data collected to address disparities in learning? So were we! Our teachers were becoming burnt out with collecting formative data, having a conversation, making a plan, and not seeing a change in our data. As a leadership team, we dove deep into this barrier and created a system that analyzed daily exit ticket data immediately so that teachers could focus PLC time on planning conversations. By doing this, our teachers are now empowered to attack the academic subgroup disparities efficiently and with confidence.
