Jen Cyr is a reading specialist in Rochester, NH. She is a district trainer in LETRS, DIBELS, and other tools. She is a board member of the New Hampshire International Dyslexia Association. Jen is also a moderator on the Science of Reading: What I Should Have Learned in College Facebook page.

Sharon is a former principal of a high poverty elementary school. During her tenure as principal, her instructional expertise substantially improved reading outcomes, evidenced by high-level ELA CAASPP results. Her leadership expertise and school data were featured in the DIBELS (Acadience) Newsletter nationwide. She was featured in the Glean Education Educational Leadership podcast, The Power of PD & Coaching in School Literacy Improvement. She presented her school's literacy improvement at the California Department of Education Title 1 Conference Wild About ESSA, the Association of California School Administrators Mid-State Conference as well as the 2021National ESEA Conference. Sharon supports schools/districts with instructional leadership for improved reading outcomes as a MTSS Leadership Consultant.

Donna Hejtmanek is a former reading specialist/interventionist and special educator of 41 years. Her training in multi-sensory literacy instruction from Wilson Reading Systems and Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) has provided her with an understanding of what evidenced based instruction entails. She serves as president of the Literacy Task Force of Northern Wisconsin, was appointed by Gov. Scott Walker in 2014 to Wisconsin’s Read to Lead Literacy Council and served on The Legislative Council Study Committee on the Identification and Management of Dyslexia in 2018. This resulted in Wisconsin’s first dyslexia bill, Act 86, signed into legislation in 2019. Donna Hejtmanek was awarded the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award in 2016. She currently serves as legislative chair for the International Dyslexia Association Wisconsin branch. Currently, she creates professional development opportunities for 100K+ members of the Facebook group Science of Reading—What I Should Have Learned in College. She has been featured on Glean Education podcast, EdView 360 Podcast and EdView 360 Blog. She was awarded the Literacy Champion Award in 2020 from LETRS Voyager Sopris.

Lori Severino, Ed.D. is an Assistant Professor at Drexel University. Prior to her tenure at Drexel, she was a public- school teacher for 26 years. While at Drexel, she incorporated the science of reading theories and research into both preservice and graduate education programs. Her research interests include teacher preparation and literacy, with a focus on dyslexia. Dr. Severino has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and is the co-author of the book: Using Creativity to Address Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia: Assessments and Techniques. She has also created a patent-pending, digital reading comprehension assessment (ACE) for middle grades. Dr. Severino has presented both internationally and nationally and is the 2019 recipient of Council for Learning Disabilities Floyd G. Hudson Service Award.
