Dr. Derek Etheridge is the Director of Federal Programs for the Cartwright School District and oversees Federal grants. He has been in education for over 15 years as a middle school teacher, math coach, asst. principal, principal, and director. He has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Master's Degree in Accounting from Ottawa University.

Ms. Rebecca Leimkuehler is the Director of SEL as well as the current facilitator for the Arizona ACE Consortium Trauma-Sensitive Schools Workgroup. Ms. Leimkuehler brings three decades of experience working in education as a teacher, mentor, school principal, and district director of SEL. This path included a purposeful focus on the social and emotional well-being of both students and adults. While working as a school principal, Rebecca worked to ensure her school adopted a trauma-sensitive approach to their work. This three-year process of shifting adult mindsets and embedding trauma-sensitive approaches into her school has given her the experience to share her story, strategies, do's and don'ts with fellow educators.

Mr. Raul Pina has decades of experience in education and served as a school and district level administrator during the COVID-19 global pandemic. The Cartwright District #83 adopted a very hands-on approach to supporting scholars and families living in the Maryvale Village in the Phoenix area. These efforts included hundreds of home visits to deliver food, technology, and welfare checks.
