The COVID-19 pandemic propelled our nation's schools into a world of unprecedented challenges. The Cartwright Elementary School District in Phoenix, AZ tackled those challenges, in part, by utilizing federal funding sources to ensure students continued to learn at high levels and receive the social emotional learning support vital to academic success. This session will provide practical examples of how different federal funding sources are being braided to respond to and recover from the pandemic. Specific focus will be placed on how our District is responding to the greater need for social emotional learning because of the pandemic and how we are mitigating any learning regression caused by the pandemic.
