This educator presentation is used to build capacity in district and building level personnel through data-driven discussion that will lead to implementing research based strategies to increase student achievement. This is an interactive session allowing for participants to develop strategies to build collective efficacy amongst teachers and leaders in a school building or district. Participants will how to create structures to brainstorm, discuss, and evaluate instructional practices to monitor and improve student achievement. Additionally, participants will learn how to collect, evaluate, and analyze data from common assessments. The data will be used to determine trends in specific instructional areas and develop action steps to implement instructional strategies to improve student achievement. Schools or districts will develop a process for teams to collaborate and develop action steps on how to implement this process in their district or school.
