Providing Educational Stability for Students in Foster Care

Youth in foster care represent one of the most vulnerable subgroups. These students are more likely to struggle socially and academically. This interactive session will provide recommendations for academic and non-academic supports to increase success for students in foster care. The presenter will also outline Project Wrap Around, a joint project between Metro Nashville Public Schools, TN Department of Children Services, TN Juvenile Court, and TN Administrative Office of the courts, designed to ensure educational stability for students in foster care.
