Ms. Riano has over 20 years of experience in the ESOL, World Languages, Immigrant and Refugee Education, International/Latino parental involvement, programs development and implementation. Ms. Riano’s professional history includes: ESOL Coach, Language Acquisition Specialist, Language Development Consultant, District Coordinator of Language Acquisition Programs, International Newcomer Center Developer and International Family and Community Engagement Coordinator. Ms. Riano is a distinguished speaker and presenter at many professional conferences, she is the author of 86 published educational articles and recipient of numerous awards.
