Empower Your Learners: How HyperDocs Transform Instructional Experiences
As we have faced a new dynamic this school year, we need different tools and strategies to help us restructure learning experiences for our fellow teachers, faculty, students, and families. The Idaho Digital Learning Alliance created 34 HyperDocs designed to do just that. In this session, we will discuss HyperDoc development, topic selection, and how they can be used both in the classroom and for professional development opportunities.

Tegan Byerly

Tegan Byerly is a Regional Support Specialist with Idaho Digital Learning Alliance. Tegan went to Boise State for her Secondary Science Education degree and also holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. As an Idaho educator since 2011, she believes that all students deserve the opportunity to have course choice and access, which is why she loves her role with IDLA and the opportunities it gives students across our state.

Theresa Carter

Theresa’s 31 years as an educator have spanned the physical classroom, the online classroom, and the ed-tech world. She’s happiest when she’s teaching 6th-12th grade IDLA students how online learning can build their skill sets and open up learning opportunities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education/English and a master’s degree in Adult Education/Online Learning. She has two adult sons and lives in the woods in northern Idaho with her husband and their dog, Bo.
