Leveling the Playing Field; Building a School Community
The instructional leadership could like to present, discuss, and share strategies, which lead to the extraordinary turn-around of a significantly underperforming school in an exceptionally impoverished community within the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada. Specifically, the team will focus interventions used that went beyond increasing instruction and instructional rigor, to the use of community stakeholders, outside agencies, and Title I funding to support meeting the needs of the whole child and the whole community.
