A college education is a hope all educators have for their students, but for those who serve impoverished schools, it is often just that—a hope. In this interactive session, participants will learn how to apply an innovative change management model to turn that hope into a reality. With the use of engaging videos and a school district case study which implemented the Influencer Model to drastically increase college graduation among Native American and at-riskstudents, participants will learn replicable strategies to put students on the path to college graduation and a bright future. ● Apply the six-source Influencer model to increase a student’s chance of graduation tenfold.  ● Analyze how the strategies implemented by Nebo School District can be applied to Native American and other at-risk students. ● Develop a multi-faceted influence strategy that both motivates and enables lower-income students to make lasting changes.
