Tremika Smith serves as a Program Account Technician in the Prince George’s County Title I Office. Mrs. Smith has a total of 18 years of experience in fiscal management of which six years has been in the Title I Office. In her current position she provides assistance to Title I schools with allocating, expending, and monitoring school based Title I, Part A funds. In addition, she assist Title I school bookkeepers and secretaries with balancing budgets, creating requisitions and processing teacher stipends. She serves on multiple department teams that are necessary to ensure districtwide initiatives are implemented, monitored, and executed while meeting Federal regulations. Mrs. Smith prides herself on being well-organized, detail-oriented, and a team player always willing to support her schools and colleagues.
