Nika Fabienke

Dr. Fabienke began her professional career at a K-8 school in Southern California. She worked for ten years as a classroom teacher and a district curriculum specialist.   She has been a consistently active practitioner while maintaining ties to scholars through university study and professional collaboration. 

 

After leaving the classroom, Dr. Fabienke became an educational consultant. For seven years, she created and conducted professional development experiences for teachers and administrators in support of thoughtful, effective implementation of curriculum.  

 

Dr. Fabienke earned a Educational Doctorate with an emphasis on TEMS (Teacher Education in a Multicultural Society) from the University of Southern California, a Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education, from the University of Southern California.

 

Currently, Dr. Fabienke is working to create high-quality supplemental materials for teachers and student as a content director at Teacher Created Materials. She and her team collaborate with academic experts as well as current and former teachers. She is proud to help create materials that engage a wide range of students and support a wide range of teachers.
