Elizabeth Witt has worked at the U.S. Department of Education (the Department) since 2000 and currently serves as an Education Program Specialist in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of State Support.  In this capacity she is a State program officer and calculates allocations for Title I, Part A and other ESEA programs.  Before coming to the Department, she taught English literature and composition at the university level.
