Math Achievement: Driving Gains Through Live, 1-to-1 Online Tutoring

Join FEV Tutor and leaders from several partner districts, including Moreno Valley USD and Santa Ana USD, to learn how they have implemented Online Tutoring Programs to drive Math student achievement. Panel members will discuss holistically their district challenges with Math Achievement for Title I students and how they addressed those challenges by partnering with FEV Tutor to deliver targeted 1-to-1 online tutoring. Together we will review how each district delivered intervention-based tutoring across multiple school sites and examine the efficacy of the FEV Tutor program by analyzing student growth. Moreno Valley USD leaders will share how FEV Tutor helped 69% of participants meet or exceed their Math MAP growth goals in AY 16-17 compared to 17% of students who were identified for tutoring, but did not participate. Santa Ana USD will also discuss how FEV Tutor helped students achieve 98% of their growth goals in Math and 102% of their growth goals in Reading.

This talk was presented at:
National Title I Conference
February 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
