Come learn collaborative decision making structures so your staff works together for school improvement. Cooperative meetings are a foundational component of professional learning communities. Jacqueline Minor

Dr. Jacqueline Minor currently serves as the Director of School Improvement Programs for Kagan Professional Development. Dr. Minor spent the first 22 years of her educational career in public education serving as an elementary school teacher, middle school English teacher, K–12 gifted education facilitator, building principal, school improvement specialist, and assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. Dr. Minor completed her undergraduate degree in elementary education at Baker University (Baldwin, Kansas), her master’s in gifted education at Emporia State University (Emporia, Kansas), and her doctorate in educational administration at Kansas State University (Manhattan, Kansas). Dr. Minor has been a trainer for Kagan for over 19 years. She has conducted numerous staff development sessions on school improvement, effective instruction, new teacher induction, student assessment, and leadership development. Her strong knowledge base, experience, and passion for student learning are evident in her training sessions. Dr. Minor now focuses her efforts on district-level support and implementation planning that includes administrator training, coaching, and monitoring. In addition, she supports the on-going Kagan trainer program as well as works with a non-profit organization to support teachers and students in high poverty schools.
