An educational psychologist, David Berliner is the co-author of the books: "Collateral Damage: How High Stakes Testing Corrupts American Education" and "The Manufactured Crisis: Myths, Fraud and the Attack on America's Public Schools." He uses a wide variety of statistical data to illustrate his point that class and culture have a much greater impact on education than do most other variables.
